COBA Major Week 3 Player of the Week – Mark Capone

The COBA Major League Player of the Week for week 3 (May 15th – 21st) is 2B Mark Capone of the Etobicoke Rangers.

Capone had a very strong week at the dish helping lead Etobicoke to two big wins in league play 14-1 over the Burlington Brants and 10-2 against the Oakville A’s. For his week, he was 5 for 9 (.556) with 4 singles, a double and also collected 3 walks. He drove in 5 RBI while scoring 4 more runs and collecting a stolen base.

Capone is now hitting .300 for his season with 6 singles and a double. He also has a team leading 7 runs and 6 RBI. Congratulations to Mark Capone; the Week 3 COBA Major League Player of the Week.
