COBA Major D-Ville Bats Week 5 Player of the Week – Daniel Murphy

The COBA Major D-Ville Bats Player of the Week for Week 5 (May 28th – June 3rd) is OF Daniel Murphy of the Etobicoke Rangers

Murphy played in two games during this week helping lead the Rangers to a 2-0 record. On Thursday, the Rangers picked up a tough 11-8 victory on the road in Brampton before returning home on Friday night and winning another tight game by a score of 9-6 over Milton. For his week, he was 6-for-8 (.750) with five singles, and a double. He scored six runs while collecting four RBI. He also walked twice while nabbing three stolen bases as well.

For his season, Murphy is now hitting a scorching .541 (20-for-36) with six doubles, a triple and a home run. He has walked four times while scoring 14 runs and collecting 15 RBI.
